Our Story

Patrick and Ali Wilhelm

Ali struggled with weight from a young age, even as an athlete. Her first diet came in 5th grade, leading to years of yo-yo dieting, bulimia, and anorexia. Throughout adulthood, she tried countless diets, always ending up back where she started. Growing up, she dealt with asthma and allergies, and witnessed her mom’s battle with Multiple Sclerosis and dad’s decline from heart failure.

 

In December 2020, after two years of calorie counting, she read How Not to Die by Michael Greger, which inspired her to switch to a plant-based diet. This change improved her weight stability and significantly reduced her asthma and allergy symptoms.

 

Since then, she's become a graduate of the T. Colin Campbell Plant-Based Nutrition Certification Program and a licensed Food For Life Instructor with the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine. Together with her husband Patrick, who produces their cooking classes and manages the wellness company, she's eager to share this life-changing knowledge with others and support their health journeys.
